OWWA Administrator Carmelita S. Dimzon said today (September 1, 2010) that OWWA’s welfare officers have been bringing home distressed OFWs “as many and as fast as they can” from deportation centers such as in Jeddah.

111 OFWs and children repatriated from Jeddah

August 27, 2010 – One hundred eleven (111) overseas Filipino workers and children repatriated by OWWA from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, arrived last night (Thursday, August 26, 2010) between 10 – 11 pm on flights EY 428 and BI 689 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport under the accelerated repatriation program of Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, according to OWWA Administrator Carmelita S.
