March 10, 2010 – The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration has made available a special course in its Skills-For-Employment Scholarship Program for eligible SESP beneficiaries.
The course is called 2D Animation, and will be conducted by Creative Media and Film Society of the Philippines (CreaM).
Initially, the training is available in the National Capital Region.
The 2D Animation course is being offered to address both market demand and state-of-the-art advancements in the digital technology related to the popular medium.
Interested applicants will be referred to the CreaM office in San Juan, metro Manila for pre-training qualifying assessment.
As a basic requirement, candidates for the course must:
* Be at least high school graduate
* Have affinity for the arts or drawing
* Pass CreaM’s entry testing
* 15 – 30 years of age
