Auction of used, unserviceable equipment


INVITATION TO PUBLIC AUCTION
No. 2009-01

1. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) invites all interested parties who wish to participate in the public auction of the following unserviceable equipment on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

  LOT 1 One (1) Lot Steel Filing Cabinets at PhP 36,520.00 minimum selling price
    LOT 2 One (1) Lot Motor Vehicles at PhP 31,000.00 minimum selling price
    LOT 3 One (1) Lot Air conditioning Units at PhP56,520.00 minimum selling price
    LOT 4 One (1) Lot Scrap Elevator Parts at PhP46,520.00 minimum selling price

2. The ITEMS are grouped into four (4) lots for the purpose of bidding, evaluation, and contract award as indicated above. Bidders shall have the option of submitting a proposal on any lot. Evaluation and contract award will be undertaken on a per lot basis.

3. The abovenamed items shall be awarded to the highest bidder. Full payment shall be made within five (5) working days from the date of the notice of award. Interested bidders may inspect the said items on August 17-24, 2009, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at OWWA Parking Lot along FB Harrison St, Malibay Warehouse and Ground Floor OWWA Center.

4. Public auction guidelines shall be available to interested bidders starting August 17, 2009 at Room 301, third floor OWWA Center Building, Pasay City.

5. The minimum amount for the bid proposal shall not be less than the minimum selling price stated above. The successful bidder will be allowed to remove and/or take the bidded items after full payment of the purchase price.

6. Sealed proposals, accompanied by bid security in the form of cash or cashier’s check in an amount equivalent to 10% of the floor price shall be received at the address stated below not later than 2:00 pm on August 26, 2009. Immediately thereafter, said proposals shall be opened in the presence of the attending bidders.

7. The OWWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any defect therein and accepts bids considered complying, responsive and most advantageous to the government.
